What is the difference between LGV Cat C and LGV Cat CE Licences?

The LGV Cat C licence covers you to drive any LGV vehicle up to a 32 tonne rigid.

The LGV Cat CE  license includes all the Cat C driver entitlement plus a large artic vehicle with a trailer up to 44 tonnes.

From the 15th November, 2021 changes to LGV Licenses and Tests mean that you can now learn to drive in an articulated lorry (Cat CE) and take your test in a large articulated lorry without having to pass one in a large rigid lorry (Cat C) first.
