Driver CPC Periodic Modular Training Course – JAUPT APPROVED
Anyone driving for financial gain needs to complete 35 hours of JAUPT approved Periodic CPC Driver Training every five years. Providing you passed your car driving license before January 1997, you passed your LGV License before 10th September 2009, or you have previously completed your Initial Driver CPC Training Courses (see above), you can book our Periodic CPC Driver Training Courses today.
We offer five Modular Driver CPC Periodic training courses delivered by our own RHA and JAUPT approved trainers, which are designed to extend your knowledge and keep you on the road.
Our JAUPT Approved CPC Periodic courses are available to be booked as single 7-hour day courses or you can book all five as a 5 day, 35-hour week training course package.
All our Modular CPC Periodic Driver Training Courses are delivered via Zoom, so you can learn in the comfort of your own home.
On completion of each single-day CPC training course or the 5-day CPC training course package, you will receive a JAUPT certificate confirming the course hours you have attended. You will need a minimum of 35 hours of attendance to obtain your new Driver Qualification Card.
The Surecall Driver Training School is a JAUPT driver CPC-approved centre AC02233.

LGV Essentials
This course will provide you with the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of the various driver hour regulations, including rest and associated record-keeping requirements and the possible penalties for infringements.

PERIODIC CPC COURSE 2
Safe Loading
This course will enable you to develop your knowledge and understanding of the requirements for the safe loading of vehicles. The course will also explain to you in detail the causes of accidents and the appropriate procedures for reporting accidents.

PERIODIC CPC COURSE 3
Health & Safety Awareness
This course will enable you to develop your knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations & how to protect yourself in the environments you operate in. You will also learn the causes and symptoms of fatigue and to understand sleep disorders.

PERIODIC CPC COURSE 4
Fuel Efficient Driving
This course will raise your awareness of the environmental impact of emissions, fuel-efficiency, cleaner vehicles and alternative fuel technologies. It will also demonstrate to you how to drive and operate your vehicle in a fuel-efficient manner.

PERIODIC CPC COURSE 5
Accidents & Fitness to Drive
This course familiarises you with changes in truck technology and the contribution of speed in traffic accidents. It provides hints and tips on driving in bad weather, identifying vulnerable road users and advice to ensure that you are fully fit to drive.

Looking to take your first CPC Course?
Depending on when you passed your driving tests, you may need to take the Initial Driver CPC Course first.
Initial Driver CPC Course
This option is a legal requirement for anyone who passed their car driving test after January 1997 and is now looking to drive for financial gain. It is also required for drivers who gained their LGV licence for: Cat C, C1, CE and C1E after 10th September 2009 to take this course once.
